Cully is Northeast Portland’s most culturally & economically diverse neighborhood. Annexed in 1985, Cully has a more rural feel than other neighborhoods and its warm, friendly residents make it seem like small-town America. Community pride is strong here; Cully neighbors have a reputation for civic engagement—and that makes it a great place to live. Cully Association of Neighbors, CAN, organizes the biggest clean-up day in Portland.  Its proximity to three bustling business districts (Alberta Arts, Beaumont Village and 42nd Ave.), schools, restaurants, parks and community gardens doesn't hurt, either.
